Tina’s Bridal Shower
Thursday, March 26th, 2009
Last Saturday (or the one before that even…) I went to a dear friends bridal shower. I have known Tina since 8th grade and she is now getting married to a wonderful man named Ben. The first time I met Ben I knew that he was the one for Tina. The way he treated her and how they interacted, it was just the way it should be. I’m so excited to go to their wedding in June! (yay! less than 100 days, T!)
Here are a few pictures from her shower at one of the bridesmaids houses (geeze, speak English much, Amanda?):

Our guest of honor, Miss Tina
Seriously, you look beautiful, my dear!

There were M&M’s EVERYWHERE! I mean, not that I’m complaining about it or anything
And a story behind the little decorative flowers on the table. Ashley and Elyse went out looking for little bits to decorate the table. They found these cute, little, pink and yellow flowers and scattered them on the tables. They soon found out that the flowers smelled… soapy? They were bath soaps. Good job, girls
Here are some more details:

coffee

cupcakes

The Cake!
This cake was AWESOME. Elyse’s boyfriend, Brad, made this cake for the shower. Apparently he can do anything! It was also a Funfetti cake which totally made my day

On the left we have Jenny who is an actress living in New York. You should really hire her if you need an actress, she’s pretty awesome (I’m just saying..). On the right is Ashley, whose (who’s?) parents house we were having the shower at. On the mug is Ashley’s face (I was going to make a “on the mug is Ashley’s mug” joke, but rolled my eyes at myself and decided it wasn’t worth it). As you can see she was pretty excited about her mom handing out coffee mugs with her face on them.

The bridesmaids, being good friends, made Tina get up and show us all how to dance the Flamenco. I stood in the back and took pictures.

Here are Tina and her girls (l – r): Elyse, Ashley, Tina, Seana, and Kristen. I’ve known all of them since (at least) high school, they are such wonderful ladies and I adore them
