I especially have no excuse for this family, because I had SO MUCH FUN photographing them! And the kids were just delightful and so amazing to hang out with! When they all arrived at the park, the kids hopped out of the car, said hi, gathered themselves on the grass and POSED THEMSELVES! All on their own! Like pro-models. See for yourselves:

Seriously. Couldn’t make my job any easier! Also, the day was gorgeous, so that didn’t hurt either.

Well in less than a month, she will be ONE YEAR OLD! Sweet Moses! In an effort to hold on to her tininess (although, she’s not so tiny in these pictures), we did a mini-shoot at the Reston Town Center. Mina has SO MUCH personality! She is such a little firecracker :) She definitely lets you know what is on her mind in any way that she can. And as cranky as she can be, she is 10 times happier. She loves, loves to laugh and smile. And she watches everything, taking it all in. She started army crawling at 8 months, crawling full time at 8.5 months, and now at 11 months is getting ready to walk.

Enough talk, here’s the cute kid:

You can’t tell in this picture, but she has 5 teeth and seems to be working on 18 more…….. I hate teething.

Kyle and Sarah were one of my favorite sessions of the year so far :) I have known Sarah since she was in junior high, so WOW is it ever weird that she’s engaged and getting married! I met up with them at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna (which, if you haven’t been there, you should totally go), and we braved the heat (and gnats, ew) and got some awesome pictures. I’m pretty sure I had them kiss about 1,803 times (which they totally hated, obviously). They were just so cute together, I kept asking Kyle to give Sarah a kiss and he obliged so nicely. For pictures of course. I think that if you took a drink every time you saw them kissing or being cute in this post, you would be more than happy by the end!

Drink number one! Go!

Just looking back through these pictures makes me smile again :) Colin answered the door before I could even knock on it, and I was immediately introduced to his special Polar Bear given to him by his aunt.

We went outside and braved the gnats for a few pictures. Colin didn’t last long, but it’s ok, because neither did I :)
